The Nashville Predators have their first winning streak of the season. Nashville (6-4-5, 17 points) beat the defending Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes 4-1 at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday night, behind a goal and an assist from captain Roman Josi and 29 saves from Juuse Saros, with soon-to-be Hall of Famer Pekka Rinne watching from the stands.
It was Nashville’s second straight win, following Saturday’s 5-4 shootout victory over Tampa Bay, when Steven Stamkos tied the game late and scored the shootout winner against his former team. Filip Forsberg leads the Predators with 17 points (5 goals, 12 assists).
Next up, the Predators visit the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday, November 5, return home to face the St. Louis Blues on Saturday, November 7 at 12 p.m. CT, and then head west to play the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday, November 10.
