Microsoft has unveiled one of its strangest consoles ever: the Xbox Series X-BITE, a working Xbox Series X built inside a life-size alligator. The one-of-a-kind console measures more than five feet from snout to tail, with the Xbox Nexus button glowing through the gator’s body and a custom controller with bite marks resting in its jaws.
The alligator was crafted by John Nolan Studio, the creature-effects team behind The Witcher and Jurassic World Dominion, and no real alligators were used. Microsoft built only one X-BITE, valued at about $800, and it is not for sale – fans can win it through Xbox’s sweepstakes on X, Instagram, or TikTok (repost with #XbiteSweepstakes) by November 10, 2026. Xbox recommends it for display, even though the console inside works.
